Dates to Know: Slammers High School Summer 2025 *UPDATED 5/9/2025*
The 2025 Class featured 29 D1 commits and 70 total players will be going on to play in college. Mark your calendars, you don't want to miss these dates.
We originally scheduled our Slammers High School Showcase for June 14-16, 2025. Since we made the announcement, the NCAA has declared that those dates fall during a recruiting dead period. We have updated the dates for our Showcase to August 6-8, 2025 at ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, CO (same location). Event details below:
We are starting to circulate information on two very important events for our high school players this summer. First, we have our Slammers Showcase that will be held at ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, CO from June 14-16 August 6-8. This is a great opportunity for college coaches to come in and get a look at the best Slammers has to offer across multiple classes with our top teams from both North and South. Second, we have our high school evaluations scheduled for Sunday, May 4 (South) and Sunday, May 18 (North). This will be an opportunity for every high school player to go through our standardized evaluation that involves Rapsodo hitting / pitching sessions, height, weight, and an athletic evaluation with Loden Sports.
This blog will cover everything you need to know about both of these events…
Slammers Showcase [College Coaches + Players]
There’s no better place to be in the middle of August than Highlands Ranch, Colorado. We are inviting college coaches from all over the country to escape the sweltering heat of the southwest and the southeast to see the very best of what Colorado high school baseball has to offer. Yes, it reads like an infomercial - but - it’s all true.
This is a great opportunity to see the best uncommitted players in the state of Colorado with and against the best committed players in the state of Colorado.
Key Information
August 6-8, 2025 at ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, CO

College coaches, we will supplement this event with the objective data that we capture during our high school evaluations (read more below). Slammers High School Evaluations [Players Only]
Slammers will be holding high school evaluations on Sunday, May 4 (South) and Sunday, May 18 (North) for all of our high school teams. In the past two years, the information gathered during our early summer evaluations have been shared with every Division 1 and Division 2 program in the country and have become increasingly well-received due to the nature of the unbiased, objective information. The Slammers Athlete Development blog and X (twitter) account have amassed 100+ combined follows from college coaches in the past 2 years.
High School Evaluations (bring turfs)
After completing evaluations, the information will be aggregated and shared in a variety of formats as outlined below:
Email – mass email sent to all college coaches and Slammers team coaches.
Slammers Athlete Development Blog – leaderboards and spotlights.
Slammers Athlete Development X (Twitter) – each player will get their own tweet with metrics and video.
Even if your high school team is within its competitive season, you should try and make the scheduled date with the rest of your team. If you are a pitcher that is still active within your competitive season, you will not be asked to throw for the Rapsodo, however, you should still come and get your height, weight, and athletic evaluation completed so that this information can be shared with college coaches.
Slammers prides itself on providing an unparalleled in-house service for all high school players. The 2025 class saw 70 Slammers players commit to play college baseball including 29 Division 1 commitments. If you are unable to attend during your team’s allotted time, please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to work with you to get you in.
Players, your date and time are scheduled in your TeamSnap calendar. If you have any questions, please reach out to your coach, Mark Holzemer (South), or Bryant Asnicar (North). Thank you.
