Slammers Dashboard Info: Spring 2024
A companion for players, coaches, and parents getting onboarded to the Slammers Dashboard
All,
This is a refresher for some and for others this is new. You should have all received an email with access to your athlete’s Slammers Dashboard profile. For those who logged in last year – use your same UN / PW that you created when you logged in last year. For those who are new, create your log-in information and write it down. This Slammers Dashboard profile is your athlete’s profile for as long as they are at Slammers and will continue to be the place where all of their evaluation data lives.
For the time being, the Slammers Dashboard is optimized for computer usage. We currently have a mobile app version in beta which we are hoping to roll-out shortly for all of you.
Tabs
Profile: Most of the information in this tab is editable by you if you so choose. The information populated in this profile is directly from your TeamSnap registration.
Athlete: This is where you keep track of your Loden Sports athletic testing data.
Hit: This is where you keep track of your Rapsodo hitting evaluation data.
Pitch: This is where you keep track of your Rapsodo pitching evaluation data.
Stats: For players that have coaches that provide access to Gamechanger stats, this is where you can find your game stats. All season stats will be uploaded at the same time following the conclusion of all youth seasons.
Data Visuals
Percentiles: Under each of the data tabs: Athlete, Hit, Pitch, and Stats, you’ll notice the display looks a little bit different from last year. We have switched to a percentile bar to help with data interpretation. This is a 0-100 percentile comparative. Each player is compared against their age. Red is good, grey is average, and blue is needs improvement.
Ex. If I am 13-years-old and my 30-yard sprint time is 5.03, I am in the 30th percentile compared to all 13-year-olds.
Trend Lines: Underneath the percentile bars, you’ll find a series of graphs. These graphs should the average trend lines for each metric in that tab in blue with your data plotted in red.
Player Details: At the bottom of each data tab, you’ll see a table that has all of the raw data values from each evaluation date in chronological order – because sometimes we would rather just see the data.
What does each metric mean?
Great question, there are a lot of metrics aren’t there?
Use your mouse to hover over the percentile bars and you’ll be presented with a definition for each metric.
Still have questions? Check out old Slammers Athlete Development blogs.
We hope that the above is helpful and the data that is being presented provides a roadmap for understanding what type of player you are and what you need to focus on to continue to be the best version of yourself on the baseball field.
All the best,
Slammers Athlete Development
