Slammers High School Eval Days Start this Weekend
May 4 at Slammers South / May 18 at Slammers North
As we get closer to the summer, a few notes for players in our high school program…
Slammers High School Evaluations
We have our high school evaluations scheduled for Sunday, May 4 (South) and Sunday, May 18 (North). This will be an opportunity for every high school player to go through our standardized evaluation that involves Rapsodo hitting / pitching sessions, height, weight, and an athletic evaluation with Loden Sports.
Slammers will be holding high school evaluations on Sunday, May 4 (South) and Sunday, May 18 (North) for all of our high school teams. In the past two years, the information gathered during our early summer evaluations have been shared with every Division 1 and Division 2 program in the country and have become increasingly more requested due to the nature of the unbiased, objective information. The Slammers Athlete Development blog and X (twitter) account have amassed 100+ combined follows from college coaches in the past 2 years.
What is the evaluation? (bring turfs)
After completing evaluations, the information will be aggregated and shared in a variety of formats as outlined below:
Email – mass email sent to all college coaches and Slammers team coaches.
Slammers Athlete Development Blog – leaderboards and spotlights.
Slammers Athlete Development X (Twitter) – each player will get their own tweet with metrics and video.
Even if your high school team is within its competitive season, you should try and make the scheduled date with the rest of your team. If you are a pitcher that is still active within your competitive season, you will not be asked to throw for the Rapsodo, however, you should still come and get your height, weight, and athletic evaluation completed so that this information can be shared with college coaches.
Slammers prides itself on providing an unparalleled in-house service for all high school players. The 2025 class saw 70 Slammers players commit to play college baseball including 26 Division 1 commitments.
Players, your date and time are scheduled in your TeamSnap calendar. If you have any questions, please reach out to your coach, Mark Holzemer (South), or Bryant Asnicar (North). Thank you.
Slammers Dashboard
All results from evaluations (and past evaluations) will be accessible through the Slammers App. For years, we’ve been using these evaluations and the corresponding technology to objectively benchmark all of our athletes in areas that we know matter on the baseball field. Consistent tools and methods for measuring allows all of our players to track their progress, year-over-year.
Accessing Your Profile
To access your athlete’s profile, click here: slammers.app; and proceed to log-in. For all first-time players or returning players who forgot their username and password, you can use the email address that received this communication to reset your password and access your account. You can always use this email address to reset your password and access your profile.
Please note: if mom and dad have both received this email, they can each create their own unique username and password to access their athlete’s profile.
Where to Find Eval Results
As I mentioned above, the results of the Loden evals will be found under the “Athlete” tab. For any returning players, your historical information is in there as well. Rapsodo data will be available under the “Hit” and “Pitch” tabs. For a quick refresher to help you understand what you’re looking at, check out this blog from last spring.
Slammers App
All of the functionality of the website: slammers.app – is now available in mobile app form. Go to either the iOS App Store or the Google Play store, search for “Slammers”, find the familiar “S”, and download the app on your phone. Use the same credentials you use online from your phone.
What’s Coming Later this Year
Finally, please be aware that the Slammers App has undergone a lot of construction in the past year in anticipation of some exciting new features coming this year. In 2025, you’ll be able to use slammers.app to schedule lessons and register for tryouts and seasons. There’s nothing you have to do about this right now, but change is coming as we look to streamline the experience for all of our parents, players, and coaches.
An Update on the Slammers Showcase
The 2025 Slammers Showcase that was originally scheduled for June 14-16, 2025 will be rescheduled to a later date. Since our initial announcement of the showcase, the NCAA has declared that weekend a dead period for recruiting. We will confirm new dates soon.
